CARNE
Situated on the far west coast of Ireland, Carne Golf Links overlooks Blacksod Bay and the Atlantic Islands of Innis. The course was designed by the country's most famous course architect, Eddie Hackett. It was his last course and many say it is his greatest challenge. The golf course is characterized by the monumental sand dunes that cover its landscape. They were used to create elevated tees, providing golfers with a clear view of the impending challenges. The layout offers a variety of interesting holes that each have a unique character. They require some creative shot-making and skillful course management.
